House Rules

Article 1 - Introduction

The property you are renting is furnished to meet your needs during your vacation. You will find furniture, bedding, tableware, bed linens, and towels.

Upon entering the accommodation, you will have access to the inventory created by us. You can inspect and report any defects (cleanliness, equipment damage, ...) within 24 hours.

Article 2 - Arrival and Departure

On your arrival day, the accommodation will be available from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. You will receive the keys, the house rules, and an inventory checklist. Feel free to contact us to arrange the key handover and property tour. If you plan to arrive later (after 7:00 PM), please inform us in advance.

On the departure day, you have until 10:00 AM to vacate the property. A check-out inventory will be performed in two copies to ensure the accommodation is returned in good condition.

Article 3 - Number of Tenants and Visitors

We rent the property only to the number of vacationers specified in the contract. If you wish to have visitors during your stay, prior approval is required.

Guests who are not included in the booking may not stay overnight without additional charges.

The total number of people should not exceed 6 persons.

Article 4 - Quiet Hours and Respect for Neighbors

We ask that you minimize noise during the night (between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM) in order to respect the neighbors.

Article 5 - Parties and Events

Parties, events, and large gatherings are not allowed at our vacation home.

Commercial filming and professional use are strictly prohibited on the property.

Article 6 - Provided Equipment

The accommodation is rented with bedding (bed frames and mattresses), blankets, and pillows according to the inventory list. You must use mattress protectors and fitted sheets to cover the mattresses, pillowcases, and duvet covers.

Bed linens and other household items (duvet covers, towels, dish towels, ...) are provided. Each mattress and pillow is equipped with a mattress protector, which must be kept clean when leaving the accommodation.

The beds are made upon arrival. You will have access to garbage bags, sponges, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil.

Article 7 - Cleaning Fee of 50€

We will take care of the final cleaning upon your departure. However, dishes should be washed and returned to their original places, the refrigerator and freezer should be emptied (except the freezer section).

Article 8 - Use of Accommodation and Equipment

During your stay, you are required to respect the accommodation. You must use the equipment properly and keep the property in good condition upon departure.

The kitchen utensils, spices, and cleaning products are available for your use during your holiday.

All furniture is available for your use, but you are not allowed to move it. Please keep it in good condition and clean.

It is not allowed to fix anything to the walls (nails, screws, tacks, tape, tack-it-like products).

In case of an accident or damage, it is your responsibility to inform the owner before departure.

Article 9 - Internet Usage

The Wi-Fi password is confidential and should not be shared with people outside your group.

You agree to comply with laws regarding downloads, streaming, and website access. Upon request from authorities, we will provide the contact details of tenants who used this connection.

The connection is shared by all residents on the property. Please use it sparingly.

Article 10 - Use of Water and Electricity

As a sign of respect for the environment, we ask that you use water and electricity sparingly: turn off lights when leaving a room, avoid running water unnecessarily, and keep windows and doors closed when using the heating.

Article 11 - Safety Measures

As hosts, we cannot be held responsible for theft, loss, or damage to the property if it is not properly secured (windows + front door locked).

Additionally, no electrical devices should be left on when you are not present. The house is equipped with smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher.

Please do not leave small children unattended inside the accommodation.

The tenant must take out liability insurance for “holiday accommodation” with their insurer to cover all rooms in the property against damage such as fire, explosion, water damage caused by them or their guests during the stay. Proof of insurance must be submitted with the rental contract.

This insurance is typically included in your home insurance and/or liability insurance. Just ask your insurance company for the relevant certificate.

Article 12 - Non-Smoking Property

Mas d’Ambayrac is a non-smoking property. Smoking or vaping inside the accommodation is strictly prohibited.

An ashtray is provided for use outside. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground or on the terrace when you leave.

To avoid fires or unpleasant smells, please do not dispose of cigarette butts in the waste bin inside the property.

Article 13 - Pets

Pets are not allowed in our property.

Article 14 - Waste Sorting

We provide waste separation facilities in the kitchen under the sink for your daily waste: general waste, glass, paper, and packaging.

Containers are available at the entrance of the property.

Article 15 - Outdoor Area

The terrace available to you is sufficiently spacious to safely use an electric barbecue.

It must be used quietly, in respect of the neighbors.

Article 16 - Pool

Access to the pool is unlimited during your stay.

Maintenance is carried out by us.

The pool is secured, but glass bottles, glasses, or tableware should not be brought to the pool area.

Pool hours are from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

It is the responsibility of the tenants to ensure their own safety and that of children. As owners, we cannot be held responsible for accidents that occur in the pool.
